Sell-Plast S.r.l. has been operating since 1978 in plastic material moulding industry through vacuum thermoforming technology. Thanks to its long experience in supplying important brands such as Pininfarina and contributing to the development of components for Formula 1, the company has specialized in supplying the automotive sector. The company has recently expanded its markets towards the transport, aerospace and furniture industry. Today the company can count on a young and motivated staff, coordinated by new senior resources with a consolidated technical and strategic know-how.

In 1978 Autoselleria Rampini became Sell-Plast S.r.l. and the core business of the historical company shifted to the vacuum thermoforming industry.

In 2017 Sell-Plast S.r.l obtained IATF TS16949 certification, a management standard for the automotive sector adopted by major international players, which certifies the quality of products throughout the company’s supply chain.

In July 2021 the company enters a new network. The investment vehicle MPD SME Capital One S.r.l. (MSCO) – managed by the investment management company MPD Partners – finalized the acquisition of a majority stake in Sell-Plast S.r.l.

New partner:
MPD SME Capital One S.r.l. (MSCO)

In July 2021, the investment vehicle MSCO finalized the majority acquisition of Sell-Plast S.r.l. and the company became part of the MPD Partners network. MPD Partners is a Geneva-based investment management company that operates as advisor and fund manager to the investment vehicle MPD SME Capital One S.r.l. (MSCO). MSCO is an investment vehicle with a particular investment thesis focused on SMEs. The vehicle can boast of the active participation of its shareholders, professionals with several years of experience in international and diversified environment. Thanks to their contribution and through the active

management of MPD Partners, the company can bring valuable expertise to the portfolio companies to ensure their sustainable growth in medium-long run.Becoming part of this team Sell-Plast will take leverage of important synergies that are founded on MPD Partners’ network. These will bring to each company function know-how and knowledge to further develop the company.
